Last updated: January 1, 2025 — EGIDYA SASU, a selective marketplace dedicated to luxury, beauty, and skincare.
Purpose & scope of application
These General Terms of Sale (GTS) apply to all transactions concluded via the EGIDYA platform, accessible at www.egidya.com, operated by EGIDYA SASU.
EGIDYA acts as an intermediary marketplace: the sale is concluded directly between the seller (partner brand or creator) and the buyer (customer). EGIDYA facilitates the connection, secures payment, and ensures the proper conduct of the transaction, without being a party to the sales contract.
Any order placed on the platform implies the buyer's full, complete, and unreserved acceptance of these GTS. These GTS prevail over any other document, unless there is a prior written agreement from EGIDYA.

The sellers
The partner brands, houses, and creators referenced on the EGIDYA platform, who have signed a partnership agreement and undertake to comply with these GTS as well as the quality and compliance standards of the platform.
The buyers
Any natural person of legal age (18 years or older) or legal entity duly represented, who has created an account on the EGIDYA platform and wishes to acquire products offered by the sellers.
Products & selection
EGIDYA is a selective marketplace specializing in the luxury sector. The product categories offered include:
- Luxury cosmetics, skincare, and beauty products
- Premium perfumes and eau de toilettes
- High-end skincare products
- Luxury fashion, ready-to-wear, and accessories
Each product is subject to a descriptive sheet established by the seller. Before any online publication, EGIDYA verifies that brands provide regulatory compliance documents for their products.
All products sold on EGIDYA are certified authentic. Any proven counterfeiting will result in the immediate removal of the seller from the platform and appropriate legal action.
Ordering process
The order is considered firm and definitive upon payment validation. A confirmation email summarizing the details is sent to the buyer as soon as possible.
Product availability
In case of product unavailability after order validation, the buyer is informed as soon as possible and may opt for a full refund or a substitute product offered by the seller.
Pricing & invoicing
Prices displayed are in euros (€) including VAT. Delivery costs, if applicable, are indicated separately before the final order validation. Each partner brand is responsible for setting its own prices. Products are invoiced at the price in force at the time of order validation.
An invoice is automatically generated for each validated order and is available in the buyer's customer area.
Secure payment
Payment is made online during order validation. The EGIDYA platform uses secure payment solutions that comply with the most demanding banking standards (SSL/TLS protocol, PCI-DSS standard). Accepted payment methods:

EGIDYA does not store any banking data. All transactions are encrypted and processed by certified payment providers. Strong authentication (3D Secure) may be required.
In case of payment refusal or proven fraud, EGIDYA reserves the right to cancel the order and inform the buyer without delay.
Delivery by partner brands
On the EGIDYA marketplace, product delivery is handled directly by the selling brands and creators, unless otherwise stipulated in specific partnership agreements.
Delivery times
Delivery times vary depending on the partner brand and are specified on each product sheet as well as at the time of order. In case of a significant delay beyond the announced time, the buyer is invited to contact customer service at info@egidya.fr.
Delivery zones
Delivery zones are defined by each seller and specified in their respective shop within the platform. Some sellers may restrict delivery to certain countries or geographical areas.
Delivery responsibility
The seller is solely responsible for shipping, packaging, and delivery within the announced timeframe. In case of a problem (delay, damaged package, non-receipt), the buyer must contact EGIDYA customer service at info@egidya.fr, who will act as an interface with the concerned seller.
Transfer of risks
Risks related to transport are transferred to the buyer upon delivery of the package to the carrier by the seller, unless otherwise provided by law.
Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 14 calendar days from the receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay penalties.
Exercising the right of withdrawal
To exercise this right, the buyer must notify their decision before the expiry of the 14-day period, by email to info@egidya.fr or via their customer area, specifying the order number and the products concerned.
Return conditions
- Products returned in their original condition, unused, complete, and in their original packaging
- Cosmetics with a removed protective seal are not eligible for return (for hygiene reasons)
- Return costs are borne by the buyer, unless there is a proven product defect or the seller indicates otherwise
Refund
The refund will be made within a maximum of 14 days following receipt of the returned product or proof of shipment, via the same payment method used for the order.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
- Personalized or custom-made products at the buyer's request
- Unsealed or opened cosmetic products (for hygiene and health protection reasons)
- Products that deteriorated rapidly after delivery
Legal Guarantees
All products sold on EGIDYA benefit from the following legal guarantees, in accordance with French law:
- Legal guarantee of conformity (Art. L.217-4 to L.217-14 French Consumer Code): 2 years from product delivery
- Guarantee against hidden defects (Art. 1641 to 1648 French Civil Code): action within 2 years from discovery of the defect
In case of non-conformity or hidden defect, contact EGIDYA customer service at info@egidya.fr for repair, replacement, or refund.
Responsibility
As an intermediary marketplace, EGIDYA is not a party to the sales contract concluded between the buyer and the seller. As such:
- EGIDYA cannot be held directly responsible for defects or delays in delivery by partner brands
- EGIDYA undertakes to facilitate the resolution of any dispute between buyers and sellers
- EGIDYA guarantees the security of financial transactions carried out on its platform
- EGIDYA may remove any product that does not meet its conformity standards
Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute, the buyer is invited to contact EGIDYA customer service first at info@egidya.fr. An amicable solution will be sought as quickly as possible, in conjunction with the seller concerned.
Consumer Mediation
In accordance with articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the Consumer Code, a mediation system is offered. The buyer can use the competent mediator free of charge in case of an unresolved dispute.

Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a persistent dispute, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by legal provisions applicable to consumers.

The purpose of these General Terms of Use (GTU) is to define the terms and conditions under which users access and use the EGIDYA marketplace platform, accessible at www.egidya.com, published by EGIDYA SASU — 91 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris — SIRET: 88796868300011.
Access to and use of the platform implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTU. Any user who does not accept these terms must immediately cease using the platform.
Access to the platform
The EGIDYA platform is accessible 24/7, subject to maintenance or technical interruptions. Browsing and viewing products are accessible without prior registration. Purchasing requires the creation of a user account.
EGIDYA reserves the right to limit, suspend, or interrupt access to all or part of the platform for maintenance, security, or update reasons, without prior notice or compensation.
User account creation and management
Account creation
Reserved for natural persons of legal age (18 or older) or legal entities duly represented. The user agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
Confidentiality of identifiers
The user is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their identifiers (email and password). In case of loss, theft, or fraudulent use, they must immediately contact EGIDYA at info@egidya.fr.
Account uniqueness
Only one account per user. The creation of multiple accounts is prohibited and may lead to their immediate suspension without prior notice.
Account closure
The user can request the closure of their account at any time by contacting info@egidya.fr. EGIDYA may also close an account in case of violation of these GTU.
Roles on the platform
The EGIDYA platform brings together four complementary categories of actors:
Brands & designers
Referenced sellers who have signed a partnership agreement. They directly handle order shipping in the vast majority of cases, unless otherwise contractually agreed.
Muses
Influencers selected by EGIDYA who create their own personalized e-shop and promote products from partner brands in an authentic influencing approach.
Buyers
Members of the general public who discover and purchase luxury products via the platform or the muses' personalized e-shops.
EGIDYA
Technical and commercial intermediary ensuring connection, payment security, conformity of referenced products, and the quality of the overall experience.
Rules of use
The user agrees to use the EGIDYA platform in accordance with its purpose and in strict compliance with current laws and regulations. The following are notably prohibited:
- Any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use or use contrary to public order and morality
- Attempting unauthorized access to EGIDYA's computer systems
- Disseminating illicit, defamatory, or infringing content on third-party rights
- Using robots or automated tools without prior written authorization from EGIDYA
- Any attempt to circumvent the platform's security measures
- Unauthorized resale of products acquired on the platform for commercial purposes
- Creating fake accounts, identity theft, or any form of deception
- Any behavior that harms the reputation of EGIDYA, its brands, or its muses
Content published by users
By publishing content (review, comment, evaluation), the user guarantees to be the author or to have the necessary rights, and grants EGIDYA a non-exclusive license to reproduce and display this content on the platform.
EGIDYA reserves the right to moderate, modify, or delete any content contrary to these GTU or the platform's values without prior notice.
Reviews published on EGIDYA must be authentic and reflect a real shopping experience. Any fraudulent or commissioned review will be deleted and may lead to the immediate suspension of the account concerned.
Status of sellers & muses
Partner brands & designers
Brands must submit a partnership application and provide regulatory compliance documents for their products before any online listing. Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of product information, quality, authenticity, and direct shipping of orders within the announced deadlines — unless otherwise contractually agreed.
Muses
Selected according to strict criteria of authenticity, commitment, and suitability for the luxury world. They undertake to recommend only tested or approved products, in compliance with the rules governing advertising and commercial partnerships.
EGIDYA reserves the right to terminate any partnership (brand or muse) that does not meet its standards of quality, authenticity, or ethics.
Intellectual Property
All elements constituting the EGIDYA platform — brand, logo, graphic charter, texts, images, structure, architecture, and source code — are protected by intellectual property law and belong to EGIDYA SASU or its authorized partners.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation, total or partial, without prior written authorization from EGIDYA, is strictly prohibited. Any violation constitutes counterfeiting punishable by the Intellectual Property Code.
Personal Data
The collection and processing of personal data comply with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and are governed by EGIDYA's Privacy Policy, available on the platform.

Limitation of Liability
EGIDYA cannot be held responsible for temporary interruptions of the platform, acts or omissions of partner sellers, or indirect damages resulting from the use of the platform.
EGIDYA guarantees the security of financial transactions carried out on its platform and undertakes to do everything possible to facilitate the resolution of disputes between buyers and sellers as quickly as possible.
Suspension & Termination
EGIDYA may suspend or terminate a user's access without prior notice in the event of a serious violation of the GTU, fraudulent behavior, harm to EGIDYA's or other users' interests, or a court decision. Ongoing orders are processed in accordance with the current GTC.
Modifications to the GTU & Applicable Law
EGIDYA reserves the right to modify these GTU at any time. Users will be informed of any significant modification by email or notification on the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
These GTU are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction, unless otherwise provided by legal provisions applicable to consumers.
